For those of you who were not aware of Quacky’s most recent accomplishment, he’s fallen in love with a pretty little duckling named Quacketta. Being a good boyfriend Quacky recently took Quacketta to King Jewelers in Green Hills to meet David King, who is sponsoring our ”Celeb-A-Duck” auction on September 1st. Quacketta may have been the first duck ever to wear a diamond necklace but I think it looks stunning on her, what do you think? Quacketta said, “I may just try and butter up David King to let me wear it while I’m racing to the finish line! I think the necklace will bring out my eyes in all my victory photographs.” The “Celeb-A-Duck” auction is being held at King Jewelers in Green Hills on September 1st from 5:30-7:30pm. Come join us to bid on ducks that have been styled by local celebrities including, Mayor Karl Dean, Miss Tennessee Stefanie Wittler, Lady Antebellum, John Rich, Jake Owen, Tennessee Titan Kyle Vanden Bosch, Tennessee Titan Rob Bironas, Nashville Sounds, Nashville Predators, Total Nonstop Action Wrestlers, Vanderbilt University’s Coach Johnson, Belmont University’s Bob Fisher and MORE!
I can’t promise the King Jewelers “Celeb-A-Duck” will come with Quacketta’s gorgeous diamond necklace above but Quacketta would be more than happy to let you photograph her in it, she’s a duck diva.

So after my pep talk with the Nashville Predators coaches, I’ve been training hard for the Great Nashville Duck Race just more than a month away. Training has been tough the last week with all the rain so I took Sunday off to enjoy the beautiful weather and took a field trip around Music City. I love how duck friendly Nashville is because there are fountains everywhere and I think I went swimming in all of them. I began my field trip at the starting point for the race to get my adrenalin up and then stopped off at every big fountain in town for a little swim. After my feathers dried I went down Broadway where I met a local celebrity who taught me to play guitar and I picked out a cool pair of boots so I could practice my line dancing. I also stopped by one of our sponsors, Nashville Duck Tours who let me take at tour out on the high seas but I discovered my wings weren’t wide enough to drive the big boat so I just cruised around and helped share fun facts about Nashville. I got everyone to quack along with me and after working up an appetite, I enjoyed a very duck friendly lunch at Bread & Company. They spoiled me by serving me freshly made croutons…if ducks could drool. I also tried an enormous piece of chocolate cake that was bigger than me! Let me know how you enjoyed my field trip by leaving a comment or tell me if there are any fountains around town I may have missed? See you at the race!
Quack, quack so glad to be back! I recently flew into Nashville with my flock of friends and we have been waddling non-stop! This past year we have flown to places like Florida, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Canada, even Mexico and Nova Scotia! Even though we have won every race, we still have to get ourselves ready for the
